Surveys show that 90% of organisations DO NOT power down their PC estate at the end of the working day, at weekends or over holiday periods. This represents a massive 118 hours of avoidable electricity cost per week equating to around £135 and half a tonne of unnecessary CO2 emissions PER PC PER annum.

A typical office PC desktop configuration draws approximately 200 Watts (more if you include monitors, printers, phone chargers etc). When left powered on a PC will consume around £200 of electricity per annum and produce over 1/2 a tonne of CO2. That’s just one PC!

PC Power Down software schedules the qualifying PC to power down at an appropriate time. The process is reversed for the morning - powering them up at the next scheduled time.
